- contribute to, inform and support First Nations communities and organisations developing and implementing their own cultural, social, economic and environmental strategies and plans.
- help industry, government and other sectors to improve how they work with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities and organisations on post-mine transformations.

Working with partners to support First Nations Inclusion in events and activities
- Ensuring First Nations Inclusion is a priority across our own event program, including our Annual Forums.
- Working with the AusIMM Life of Mine Conference 2023 to incorporate First Nations perspectives.
- Working with IMARC, ACG Mine Closure Conference and International Association for Natural Resources and Society to help identify and connect Indigenous leaders to share their experiences, leadership and aspirations for mine closure and post-mine transitions.
- Collaborating with CSIRO on a pilot research identification workshop in Geraldton (2024).
- Working with the World Mine Congress on a First Nations perspectives panel as part of the Special Symposium on Mine Closure and Post-Mine Transitions (2023).
