CRC TiME’s transdisciplinary research is structured through five program areas designed to target those areas where Australia’s economic, environmental and social resilience is most vulnerable in post mine scenarios. Our research combines biological, physical and chemical science and engineering with environmental, economic, social and computational innovation. CRC TiME’s programs are focussed on transitioning Australian communities into a successful post mining future through informing new policies, practices, technologies and services. The research programs are interlinked with many research projects contributing to more than one program. CRC TiME partners actively collaborate, integrating relevant knowledge from both practice and research in real-world problem contexts to produce robust results that are scalable and transferable.
