Social Media Guidelines

Our goal on our social media accounts is to distribute information about CRC TiME projects and be a trusted source of information about post-mine social, economic, environmental and cultural transitions. Our accounts are places for us to share news, highlight leading practices, promote new thinking and ideas and provide important updates on CRC TiME’s activities. They are also important channels for us to listen to and celebrate the communities we serve.

We welcome all enquiries, questions and commentary, including constructive feedback. Please post commentary that is relevant and respectful to all other members of the community.

We reserve the right to remove any posts and comments that don’t adhere to our guidelines and to block anyone who violates them repeatedly.

Specifically, we will not tolerate posts of comments that are:

  • False, misleading, or deceptive or we reasonably believe to be likely to be false, misleading, or deceptive
  • Abusive
  • Offensive
  • Defamatory towards an individual
  • Hateful in language
  • Unlawful
  • Trolling or deliberate disruption of discussion
  • Spam
  • Solicitation
  • Uploads or attached files that contain viruses, corrupted files or any other similar software or programs that may damage the operation of a computer or communications device
  • Link baiting (embedding a link in your post to draw traffic to another site, or a harmful link)

Please do not include on a public post any personal or sensitive information (birthday, home address, phone number, etc).

If you receive an unsolicited request for personal or sensitive information, please do not respond. Please report any such requests to the platform admin.
