Summary
Returning functioning ecosystems to achieve closure objectives in a cost-effective manner remains a challenge, despite significant knowledge and practical experience existing across Australia. This project will establish a platform to organise effectively the CRC’s knowledge base and then deliver a conceptual ecosystem return model highlighting the CRC’s collective capabilities to address prioritised knowledge gaps and industry needs, and to substantiate regulatory compliance using robust science.
