The awards will recognise excellence in peer-reviewed research, innovative collaborations, and transformative approaches that support positive post-mine transition outcomes and celebrate rigorous postgraduate research, effective knowledge translation, and community-centred initiatives that shape the future of mine closure and transition.
Each award has its own assessment criteria:
- Distinguished Paper Award
- Community Champion Award
- Outstanding Student Award
- Research Communication Award
- A New Way Forward Award
Nominations are open to CRC TiME partners, researchers, collaborators, and PhD Students. This includes individuals, groups, and organisations, including regional and First Nations organisations, government agencies, projects and collaborations. Nominations must be received by 5 pm AEST, 10 May 2025.
A nomination form must be filled out and individually submitted for each award. Please submit your application by sending the completed nomination form and any supporting documents to hello@crctime.com.au.
The award winners will be announced at the CRC TiME Annual Forum Dinner on Tuesday 26 August 2025 in Darwin.
